Quotation from: The Valley of the Moon

Written by: Jack London

her with a boy's rigid equity, even to the half of a hard-boiled
egg and the half of a big red apple.

drew out a cloth-bound book.

holding the place while with the other he waited for the tug on
the fishline that would announce rockcod.
